چکیده

این مقاله به بحث تقویت تیرهای بتنی با آلیاژ حافظه دار در محل هایی با بیشترین بار و تغییر شکل می پردازد. یک تحلیل ساختاری با استفاده از FEM جهت بررسی رفتار تیرهای تقویت شده با فولاد و آلیاژ حافظه دار تحت خمش 3 و 4 نقطه ای انجام شده است. کشسانی تیر بتنی تقویت شده با میله های NiTi اندکی افزایش یافته و به نوع بارگذاری بستگی دارد. مشخص گردید که انحراف به وجود آمده تحت خمش در میله های تقویت شده توسط آلیاژ حافظه دار کمتر از میزان مشاهده شده در روش های تقویتی مرسوم بوده است.

مواد و روش ها

جهت مدل¬سازی ویژگی¬های فوق ارتجاعی میله¬های SMA، ویژگیهای ترمومکانیکی بنیادی آلیاژهای Ni55.75 و Ti44.15 توسط بایکیو و همکاران (2021) مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. دمای تغییر فاز به هنگام گرمایش (شکل 1a) و سرمایش (شکل 1b) توسط روش گرماسنجی روبشی تفاضلی مشخص گردید. ویژگیهای مکانیکی SMA (جدول 1) بدست آمده توسط کشش تک¬محوری نمونه با قطر 4 میلی متر در حلقه هیسترزیس نشان داده شده¬اند (شکل 2).

جهت تایید رفتار مدل SMA، یک عنصر استوانه¬ای شکل به قطر 4 میلی¬متر و طول 5/12 میلی¬متر مورد پژوهش قرار گرفت (شکل 3a). در این مدل، ویژگیهای آلیاژ NiTi بدست آمده از آزمایش (جدول 1) استفاده گردیده و با کشش تک¬محوری به قدرت kN 39/5 بارگذاری و سپس باربرداری شدند (شکل 3b). نیروی مورد نیاز توسط فرمولحلقه هیسترزیس بدست آمده با مدل¬سازی با مقادیر آزمایشی بدست آمده همخوانی داشته و میزان خطا بیش از %5 نمی¬باشد.

یک تحلیل ساختاری خطی توسط FEM به منظور بررسی رفتار میله¬های بتنی تقویت¬شده توسط فولاد و SMA تحت خمش 3 و 4 نقطه¬ای انجام شد. اشیای استفاده شده در این پژوهش میله¬های بتنی تقویت¬شده به طول mm 1200x80x140 (شکل 4a)، ساخته شده از بتن تقویتی C20/25 و 400C 2012mm می¬باشند (شکل 4c). داده¬های موجود در خصوص قدرت بتن و میزان تقویت آن با استانداردهای DBN V.2.6-98:2009 و DSTU B V.2.6-156:2010 تطابق داشته و در جدول 2 ارائه گردیده¬اند.

چکیده

تاثیر نرمه معدن بر مقاومت خمشی بتن به صورت تجربی مورد بررسی قرار گرفته و نتایج آن در این مقاله ارائه می گردد. بتن مورداستفاده با جایگزینی 25 و 100 درصدوزنی از شن توسط نرمه معدن تهیه گردید. بتن شن-وماسه ای سنتی نیز به عنوان بتن مرجع برای مقایسه تهیه شد. نمونه میله های ساده 100 میلی مترمکعب و 100 × 100 × 500میلی مترمکعب بااستفاده از مقاومت های بتن درمحدوده 25 تا 47 نیوتن برمیلی مترمربع برای سه سطح جایگزینی 0، 25 و 100 درصد به ترتیب برای دستیابی به مقاومت فشاری و خمشی درطول 28 روز تهیه شدند. از نتایج دیده می شود که مقاومت خمشی بتن با نرمه معدن 25 و 100 درصد درمقایسه با بتن بدون نرمه-معدن به ترتیب 2 و 4.3 درصد بالاتر بود. با انجام تحلیل رگرسیون، فرمول های تجربی به شکل y = axb برای بتن با نرمه معدن به دست آمد. این روابط با استفاده از مقاومت فشاری بتن با فرمول های پیشنهادی با قواعد عملی ACI، BS و IS برای برآورد مقاومت خمشی مقایسه شدند. نشان داده شد که با افزودن نرمه معدن به بتن، استحکام خمشی آن بهبود پیدا می کند.

2-2- تناسب های مخلوط و تهیه نمونه ها

سه سطح جایگزینی نرمه بتن 0٪، 25٪ و 100٪ در مخلوط های بتن استفاده شدند. سطح 25٪، درصد جایگزین بهینه ای است که با انجام مطالعات مربوط به استحکام برای سطوح 0، 25، 50، 75 و 100 درصد جایگزینی شن وماسه حاصل گردید. مقاومت های فشاری 28 روزه مربوطه 24.49، 27.91، 24.64، 21.33 و 19.40 نیوتن برمیلی مترمربع بودند. مخلوط ها برای دستیابی به پنج استحکام مختلف طراحی شده اند. مخلوط های بتنی برای رسیدن به یک اسلامپ یا کارپذیری تقریبا ثابت در دامنه 60-180 میلی متر طراحی شده اند و به همین ترتیب نسبت آب سیمان متغیر بود. روش مورداستفاده برای طراحی مخلوط مطابق با آنچه در “طراحی مخلوط های بتن معمولی” ذکر شده است بود. جدول 2 نسبت های ترکیبی دقیق را نشان می دهد. سیمان و مصالح سنگی در ابتدا در یک میکسر بتن مخلوط شدند. دو سوم آب موردنیاز درابتدا به مخلوط سنگدانه-سیمان-شن وماسه اضافه شد و کاملا مخلوط گردید. آب باقیمانده با مخلوط شدن بیشتر برای به دست آوردن ترکیب یکنواخت و همگن افزوده شد. مخلوط برای هر سطح جایگزینی شن و ماسه از درجه بتن خاص در قالب های فولادی 100 × 100 × 100 میلی متر و 100 × 100 × 500 میلی متر ریخته شده و با یک میله کوبه در سه لایه فشرده شد. نمونه ها پس از 24 ساعت از قالب جدا شدند و با فروبردن در آب به مدت 28 روز در دمای اتاق 27 درجه سانتیگراد تحت فرایند کیورینگ و پخت قرار گرفتند.

Abstract

The effect of quarry dust on the flexural strength of concrete has been experimentally studied and reported in this paper. Concrete used was prepared by replacing 25% and 100% of sand by weight with quarry dust. Also, conventional sand concrete was prepared as reference concrete for comparison. 100 mm cube and 100 × 100 × 500 mm plain beam specimens were prepared using concrete strengths ranging from 25 N/mm2 to 47 N/mm2 for the three replacement levels of 0%, 25% and 100% to obtain the compressive and flexural strengths respectively at 28 days. From the results, it was observed that the flexural strength of concrete with 25% and 100% quarry dust were respectively 2% and 4.3% higher compared with concrete with no quarry dust. By carrying out regression analysis, empirical formulas in the form y = axb were obtained for concrete with quarry dust. The equations were compared with formulas proposed by ACI, BS, IS codes of practice for estimating the flexural strength using the compressive strength of concrete. It was found that incorporating quarry dust in concrete improves its flexural strength.

2-2- Mix proportions and preparation of specimens

Three replacement levels of 0%, 25% and 100% quarry dust were used in the concrete mixes. The 25% is the optimum replacement percentage achieved by carrying out strength studies for 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% sand replacement levels. The respective 28-day compressive strengths were 24.49, 27.91, 24.64, 21.33 and 19.40 N/mm2 [18]. The mixes were designed to achieve five different target strengths. The concrete mixes were designed to have a near constant slump in the range of 60–180 mm; and as such, the water-cement ratio varied. The procedure used for the mix design was in accordance with that outlined in “Design of Normal Concrete Mixes” [19]. Table 2 shows the detailed mix proportions. The cement and aggregates were first mixed together in a concrete mixer. Two-thirds of the required water was first added to the cement-sand-coarse aggregate mixture and mixed thoroughly. The remaining water was added with further mixing to obtain a uniform and homogeneous mix. The mix for each sand replacement level of particular concrete grade was cast in 100 × 100 × 100 mm and 100 × 100 × 500 mm steel moulds and compacted with a tamping rod in three layers. The specimens were de-molded after 24 h and cured by immersion in water for 28 days at a room temperature of 27 °C. The plain beam specimens were used to obtain the flexural strength, and the cubes were used to obtain the compressive strength of the concrete.

چکیده

این مطالعه به عملکرد خمشی بتن بازیافتی که در حضور بارهای زیاد تا مرز خرابی پیش می رود، می پردازد. برای این هدف، هشت تیر بتنی تقویت شده با مصالح درشت بازیافتی با استفاده از دو نسبت متفاوت آب به سیمان (0.50 و 0.65) و چهار درصد جایگزینی (0 درصد، 20 درصد، 50 درصد و 100 درصد) ساخته شدند. در ابتدا، خصوصیات اولیه بتن (استحکام مکانیکی و ضریب قابلیت ارتجاعی) مشخص شدند و سپس نمونه های تیر با استفاده از یک تست خمش چهار نقطه ای در 28 روز تا خرابی بارگذاری شدند. در نتیجه، لحظات خمشی، انحراف، کشش و انحنا در سطوح مختلف بار (ترک خوردگی، سرویس، جاری شدن و شرایط نهایی) و همچنین الگوی ترک به دست آمدند.

1 مقدمه

6 نتیجه گیری

در این کار، عملکرد خمشی بتن های بازیافتی تعیین شده است. بر اساس این نتایج می توان نتیجه گیری های زیر را بیان کرد:

• با افزایش درصد جایگزینی، لحظه ترک خوردگی کاهش می یابد. این کاهش با استحکام کششی پایین بتن های بازیافتی سازگار است، که باعث ترک خوردگی بیشتر و زودتر از بتن معمولی می شود.

• در زمان سرویس دهی، لحظه ها و انحرافات خمشی کمی تحت تأثیر محتوای مصالح درشت بازیافتی قرار می گیرند که دلیل آن تأثیر کم خصوصیات مواد بر پاسخ سازه است زمانی که اعضای سازه برای ارائه یک رفتار شکل پذیر طراحی شده اند.

Abstract

This work deals with the flexural performance of recycled concrete subjected to increasing loads up to failure. For this purpose, eight reinforced concrete beams were made with recycled coarse aggregates using two different water to cement ratios (0.50 and 0.65) and four replacement percentages (0%, 20%, 50% and 100%). Firstly, the basic concrete properties were determined (mechanical strengths and modulus of elasticity) and then, beam specimens were loaded up to failure using a four-point bending test at 28 days. As a result, bending moments, deflections, strains and curvatures were obtained at different load levels (cracking, service, yielding and ultimate state conditions), and also, the crack pattern.

On the basis of these results, it can be noted that service, yielding and ultimate state of recycled concrete exhibits, in general, a similar trend to that of conventional concrete. However, the cracking behaviour shows differences between recycled and conventional concrete. Finally, code-based expressions were used to calculate bending moments and deflections under flexural load, taking into account the different content of recycled coarse aggregate.

1 Introduction

In order to promote the sustainability of concrete, efforts have been made to address some of the environmental problems associated with concrete waste. In line with this, numerous researches have been conducted to analyse the structural performance of recycled concrete [1–13]. However, its use in real building and civil engineering applications requires more full scale studies, to assess the load-deformation response of recycled concrete that leads to good agreement on structural design.

6 Conclusions

In this work, the flexural performance of recycled concretes has been determined. On the basis of these results the following conclusions can be drawn:

• The cracking moment decreases as the replacement percentage increases. This reduction is consistent with the lower tensile splitting strength of recycled concretes, which leads to a greater and earlier cracking than with conventional concrete.

• At serviceability, bending moments and deflections are slightly affected by the content of recycled coarse aggregate due to the low influence of material properties on structural response when structural members are designed to present a ductile behaviour.

1. مقدمه

6. خلاصه و نتیجه گیری

این مقاله بر روی رفتار دینامیک کلی MRFها، BRBFها و SC-BRBFهای در معرض زمین لرزه های پالس مانند نزدیک گسل متمرکز است. پاسخ های ساختاری به حرکت های زمین دور از حوزه سطح DBE و MCE نیز به منظور مقایسه، مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. مجموعه ای از نمونه اولیه ساختمان های طراحی شده با دقت بالا مورد آنالیز قرار گرفته و پارامترهای کلیدی تقاضای مهندسی مانند MID، RID و PA به طور دقیق مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفتند. یک مطالعه پارامتری دیگر انجام شد، که امکان درک بهتر اثرات ویژگی های مختلف بادبند بر روی  پاسخ های قاب های مهاربندی را فراهم می کرد. در نهایت یک مدل پیش بینی RID برای تسهیل طراحی مبتنی بر عملکرد پیشنهاد شد. یافته ها و نتایج کلیدی به شرح زیر ذکر شدند.

Abstract

This paper presents the behaviour of steel moment resisting and braced frames under pulse-like near-fault earthquakes. The key properties for characterizing near-fault ground motions with forward directivity and fling step effects are discussed, and the influence of varying brace properties on the key engineering demand parameters such as maximum inter-storey drift (MID), residual inter-storey drift (RID) and peak absolute floor acceleration (PA) is revealed. Among other findings, it is shown that the structural responses are related to spectral accelerations, PGV/PGA ratios, and the pulse period of near-fault ground motions. The moment resisting and self-centring braced frames (MRFs and SC-BRBFs) generally have comparable MID levels, while the buckling-restrained braced frames (BRBFs) tend to exhibit lower MIDs. Increasing the post-yield stiffness of the braces decreases the MID response. The SC-BRBFs generally have mean residual drifts less than 0.2% under all the considered ground motions. However, much larger RIDs are induced for the MRFs/BRBFs under the near-fault ground motions, suggesting that these structures may not be economically repairable after the earthquakes. From a non-structural performance point of view, the SC-BRBFs show much higher PA levels compared with the other structures. A good balance among the MID, RID, and PA responses can be achieved when “partial” SC-BRBs are used. To facilitate performance-based design, RID prediction models are finally proposed which enable an effective evaluation of the relationship between MID and RID.

1. Introduction

Steel moment resisting frames (MRFs) designed in accordance with modern codes are deemed to have satisfactory ductility, energy dissipation capacity, and collapse resistance against strong earthquakes. Steel braced frames are also a prevailing class of lateral load resisting structural system, although conventional steel braces are prone to global and local buckling under compression, which compromises their energy dissipation capability [1]. Alternatively, buckling-restrained braces (BRBs) have plump hysteretic behaviour under cyclic loading, and they have received great attention among seismic researchers and practitioners [2–5].

6. Summary and conclusions

This paper has focused on the overall dynamic behaviour of MRFs, BRBFs, and SC-BRBFs under pulse-like near-fault earthquakes. The structural responses to far-field DBE- and MCE-level ground motions were also studied for comparison purpose. A set of carefully designed prototype buildings were analysed, and key engineering demand parameters such as MID, RID, and PA, were investigated in detail. A further parametric study was carried out, enabling a better understanding of the influences of varying brace characteristics on the responses of the braced frames. A RID prediction model was finally proposed to facilitate performance-based design. The key findings and conclusions are noted as follows.

چکیده

استفاده از تحلیل های کشسان یکی از روش های رایج در طراحی سازه های ساختمانی حتی تحت شرایط بارگذاری می باشد در شرایطی که احتمالا رخداد ناکشسانی وجود دارد. بر این اساس، ویژگی های هندسی و مواد مورد استفاده در تحلیل های کشسان باید به دقت انتخاب شود تا این تحلیل ها صحت خوبی داشته باشند. ستون های مرکب فولاد – بتن انواع مختلفی از حالت های ناکشسان را تجربه می کنند. ترک در بتن یکی از منابع بیشتر ناکشسانی ها بوده و در سطوح نسبتا پایین بار رخ می دهد، اما تسلیم نسبی فولاد، لغزش بین سطح بتن و فولاد، و شکست بتن نیز منجر به از دست رفتن سفتی ساختار می شود. در این مقاله، رفتار ستون های مرکب در سطح مقطع و سطح اعضا از طریق مقایسه بین تحلیل های کشسان و نا کشسان مورد بررسی قرار می گیرد. سپس، از طریق یک مطالعه ی گسترده ی پارامتری، پیشنهاد های خاص طراحی برای سختی خمشی کشسان ستون های مرکب ، برای تعیین جابجایی های جانبی تحت بار خدمات ارائه می شود. این پیشنهاد ها که در این مقاله ارائه شده است، مقادیر ساده و قوی را برای سفتی ستون های مرکب ارائه می کند که می توان از آن ها برای محاسبه های جابجایی شامل بار های جانبی، استفاده کرد.

این مقله نتایج یک مطالعه ی دقیق بر روی سختی ستون های مرکب در سطح مقطع و سطح اعضای ساختاری را به هدف توسعه ی پیشنهاد برای روند طراحی کشسان، ارائه می کند. میزان سفتی وتری بر اساس نوع بارگذاری و مقدار بارگذاری تغییر می کند ( که بر روی مکان محور خنثی تاثیر می گذارد). ازین رو، انتخاب کردن سختی خمشی کشسان مبتنی بر هدف تحلیل کشسان و نوع رفتاری می باشد که انتظار می رود بتوانیم آن را ثبت کنیم. پیشنهاد های طراحی عملی برای سختی خمشی کشسان ، برای تعیین کردن جابجایی در سطح بار خدمات ( معادله ی 19 تا 22 ) ایجاد شده است. توانایی تخمین زدن رانش جانبی در بار خدمات برای طراحی ساختمان ها اهمیت زیادی دارد و پیشنهاداتی که در حال حاضر برای این موضوع وجود دارد، محدود می باشد. حالت معادله های ارائه شده در پیشنهادات برای سختی خمشی کشسان، به صورت سختی خمشی کامل فولاد و فولاد تقویتی به اضافه ی یک ضریب سختی خمشی کامل بتن می باشد. ضریب اعمال شده برای تاثیر بتن ، به عنوان متغیر اصلی در توسعه ی این پیشنهادات در نظر گرفته شده است. این ضریب به صورت گسترده نسبت به ویژگی های سطح مقطع مانند نسبت فولاد و مقاومت فشردگی بتن و تا حدودی ویژگی های تیر – ستون مانند طول و شرایط مرزی، تغییر می کند. در هر صورت، مطالعه های پارامتری گسترده نشان داد که معادله های ساده ی پیشنهاد شده برای ثبت کردن رفتار در حالت محافظه کارانه مناسب می باشد اما هنوز باید در این زمینه ، آزمایش های اعتبار سنجی بیشتری انجام شود.

Abstract

The use of elastic analysis is prevalent in the design of building structures even under loading conditions where inelasticity would be expected. Accordingly, geometric and material properties used in the elastic analyses must be carefully selected to maintain accuracy. Steel-concrete composite columns experience different forms of inelasticity. Concrete cracking is the source of much of the inelasticity and occurs at relatively low levels of load, but partial yielding of the steel, slip between concrete and steel, and concrete crushing also contribute to losses in stiffness. In this paper, the behavior of composite columns is characterized at the cross section and member levels through comparisons between inelastic and elastic analyses. Then, through a broad parametric study, specific practical design recommendations are developed for the elastic flexural rigidity of composite columns for the determination of lateral drifts under service loads. The recommendations in this paper provide simple and robust values for the stiffness of composite columns to be used for drift computations involving lateral loads.

6- Conclusions

This paper presents the results of a detailed study of the stiffness of composite columns at the cross section and member levels with the goal of developing recommendations for elastic design procedures. The secant stiffness was seen to vary with both the type of loading (which influences the location of the neutral axis) and the magnitude of loading. Thus, the choice of elastic flexural rigidity depends on the purpose of the elastic analysis and the type of behavior that is expected to be captured. Specific practical design recommendations were developed for the elastic flexural rigidity for determination of deflections at service loads (Eqs. (19)–(22)). The ability to estimate lateral drifts at service loads is important for building design and existing recommendations are lacking. The form of the recommended expressions for the elastic flexural rigidity was taken as the gross flexural rigidity of the steel and reinforcement plus a factor times the gross flexural rigidity of the concrete. The factor applied to the concrete contribution was taken as the main variable in the development of the recommendations. This factor was shown to vary significantly with cross section properties such as steel ratio and concrete compressive strength, and less so for beam-column properties such as length and boundary conditions. Nonetheless, a broad parametric study showed that the simple recommended expressions were suitable for capturing the behavior in a conservative manner, however, further experimental validation is still warranted.

چکیده

تیرآهن های جعبه کامپوزیتی با خرپاها و تیغه های فولادی موجدار، نوع جدیدی از سازه پیشرفته پل است که اخیرا پیشنهاد شده است. این نوع سازه شامل یک دال بتنی بالا، تیغه های فولادی موج دار و دو لوله فولادی پر شده با بتن است که از طریق خرپاها به یکدیگر متصل شده اند. مقاومت در برابر پیچش و واژگونی این نوع سازه بیشتر از نوع پل های کامپوزیتی با یک تک لوله فولادی پر شده با بتن است. این نوع ساختار قادر است نیازهای ساخت سریع، حفاظت از محیط زیست و هزینه بهره وری را برآورده کند. دو پل با تیرآهن جعبه کامپوزیتی با خرپاها و تیغه های فولادی موج دار در چین ساخته شده یا در حال ساخت هستند. این مقاله طراحی این دو پل را با جزئیات کامل ارائه می دهد که شامل تجربیات مهندسی ارزشمند برای ارتقاء بیشتر این سازه جدید پل است. تحقيقات تجربی، برای مطالعه رفتار خمشی و ظرفيت خمشي اين سازه جديد پل انجام شده است. نتایج آزمون نشان می دهد که هنگامی که تیر آزمون در مرحله الاستیک است، اگر فقط کشش دال بتنی بالا و لوله های فولادی پایین در نظر گرفته شود، مقطع عرضی را می توان به عنوان یک بخش مسطح در نظر گرفت. تیر آزمایشی در تمام فرایند بارگذاری انعطاف پذیری خوبی نشان می دهد.

1- مقدمه

تیرآهن جعبه بتنی به علت سختی خمشی و پیچشی بالای آن، یکی از متداول ترین اشکال سازه برای پل ها است. با این حال با افزایش طول دهنه، وزن خود یک تیرآهن جعبه بتنی می تواند به سرعت افزایش می یابد، که این امر استفاده از آن در پل های دهانه دراز را محدود می کند [1]. یکی از امیدوار کننده ترین روش ها برای کاهش وزن خود پل ها، استفاده از سازه های کامپوزیتی بتنی-فولادی است. امروزه عمدتا سه نوع سازه پل کامپوزیتی فولادی-بتنی وجود دارد: پل های کامپوزیتی با تیر های فولادی و دال بتنی بالا، پل های کامپوزیتی با تیغه های فولادی (یا خرپاهای فولادی) و دال بتنی بالا و پایین، پل های کامپوزیتی با تیغه های فولادی (یا خرپا های فولادی) و دال بتنی بالا و پایین و پل های کامپوزیتی با دال بتنی بالا، خرپاهای فولادی و لوله فولادی پر شده با بتن در پایین (شکل (a)1).

4- خلاصه و نتیجه گیری

در این مقاله، پل با تیرآهن جعبه کامپوزیتی همراه با CSWها و خرپاها معرفی شده است. دو نمونه مهندسی پل پیاده روی و پل راه آهن با جزئیات کامل ارائه شده است. رفتار خمشی این نوع سازه به صورت آزمایشی مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. نتایج زیر را می توان برای این مقاله در نظر گرفت.
(1) پل با تیرآهن جعبه کامپوزیتی همراه با CSWها و خرپاها یک سازه پل تازه پیشنهاد شده است. وزن خود سازه را می توان با استفاده از تیغه های فولادی موج دار و خرپا های پایین، به حداقل رساند. مواد مصرفی و هزینه ساخت پل کاهش یافته و ساخت و نگهداری پل ها ساده تر می شود. استفاده از این نوع پل ممکن است نیاز به ساخت سریع و صرفه جویی در هزینه را برآورده کند، بنابراین ارزش آن در سراسر جهان بالا رفته است.

Abstract

Composite box girders with corrugated steel webs and trusses is a new type of advanced bridge structure proposed recently. This kind of structure consists of a top concrete slab, corrugated steel webs and two bottom concrete-filled steel tubes connected by trusses. The resistance to torsion and overturning of this kind of structure is larger than that of composite bridges with a single concrete-filled steel tube. This kind of structure is able to satisfy the requirement of rapid construction, environment protection and cost effectiveness. Two composite box girder bridges with corrugated steel webs and trusses have been or are being constructed in China. This paper presents the design of these two bridges in detail, which will provide valuable engineering experience for the further promotion of this kind of new bridge structure. Experimental research has been carried out to study the flexural behavior and the flexural capacity of this kind of new bridge structure. The test results show that when the test beam is at the elastic stage, the cross-section can be viewed as a plane section if only the strains of the concrete top slab and the bottom steel tubes are considered. The test beam shows good ductility throughout the whole loading process.

1- Introduction

The concrete box girder is one of the most commonly used structure forms for bridges because of its large flexural and torsional stiffnesses. However, with the increase of span length, the self-weight of a concrete box girder may increase rapidly, which restricts its use in long-span bridges [1]. One of the most promising ways to reduce the self-weight of bridges is to adopt steel–concrete composite structures. Nowadays, there are mainly three types of steel–concrete composite bridge structures: composite bridges with steel beams and top concrete slab, composite bridges with steel webs (or steel trusses) and top and bottom concrete slabs, and composite bridges with top concrete slab, steel trusses and bottom concrete-filled steel tube (Fig. 1(a)).

4- Summary and conclusion

In this paper, the composite box girder bridge with CSWs and trusses has been introduced. Two engineering examples, including a footbridge and a viaduct, have been demonstrated in detail. The flexural behavior of this kind of structure has been experimentally investigated. The following conclusions can be drawn for the current paper. (1) The composite box girder with CSWs and trusses is a newly proposed bridge structure. With the use of corrugated steel webs and bottom trusses, the self-weight of the structure can be minimized. The consumed material and the cost for the bridge construction are reduced, and the bridge construction and maintenance can be simplified. The use of this kind of bridge may satisfy the requirement of rapid construction and cost saving, therefore it is worth being promoted around the world.

چکیده

این مقاله تأثیر اثرات اندرکنش خاک و سازه (SSI) بر عملکرد لرزه ای قاب های مقاوم خمشی (MRFs) بتن آرمه (RC) 2D را بررسی می کند. این بررسی را با استفاده از تجزیه و تحلیل های دینامیک غیر خطی انجام داده ایم. هدف این پژوهش با استفاده از مطالعه ای پارامتری پیگیری می شود که در آن از (1) ویژگی های خاک، (2) روش مدلسازی اثرات SSI و (3) سطح طراحی لرزه ای سازه ها، استفاده شده است. آیین نامه ی اتحادیه ی اروپا کد شماره 8 (Eurocode 8) طبقه بندی های خاک را مطرح می کند. این طبقه بندی ها را مبنایی برای تعریف ویژگی های مکانیکی خاک قرار می دهیم. در رابطه با مدلسازی SSI، هر دو رویکرد زیر سازه ها و رویکرد مستقیم را درنظر گرفته ایم. در نهایت، سازه های دارای 4 و 8 طبقه را بررسی کردیم. این سازه ها تنها برای بارهای عمودی و یا بر اساس قوانین ایتالیا برای ساخت و سازها طراحی شده بودند(NTC-08). قاب های مقاوم خمشی بتن آرمه (RC-MRFs) موجود در خاک های نرم را بررسی کردیم، چرا که اثرات SSI بر عملکرد لرزه ای را بیشتر از حد انتظار می دانستیم. این پژوهش نشان می دهد که SSI بر تقاضای لرزه ای اثر می گذارد. این اثرگذاری برحسب حداکثر برش پایه و حداکثر نسبت رانش بین طبقات با اهمیت های متفاوت است که به رویکرد مدلسازی وابسته می باشد.

1- مقدمه

در این مقاله، نتایج مطالعه ای پارامتری را با هدف بررسی اثرات اندرکنش خاک و سازه (SSI) بر عملکرد لرزه ای قاب های مقاوم خمشی بتن آرمه (RC) نشان داده ایم. تجزیه و تحلیل های دینامیک غیرخطی به شکل های متفاوتی انجام شده است که عبارتند از:

5- نتیجه گیری

در این پژوهش، اثرات SSI بر تقاضای لرزه ای قاب های مقاوم خمشی بتن آرمه با استفاده از یک مطالعه ی پارامتری بررسی شد که در آن: (i) ویژگی های خاک، (ii) روش مدل سازی اثرات SSI و (iii) سطح طراحی لرزه ای سازه ها ارائه شده است. به طور خاص تر، تجزیه و تحلیل دینامیک غیر خطی را اجرا کردیم.
این پژوهش نشان می دهد که بر اساس رویکرد مدل سازی بکاررفته، کم و بیش SSI می تواند بر تخمین تقاضای لرزه ای با توجه به مدل پایه ی ثابت اثر بگذارد. اتخاذ یک مدل کامل تعدیل یافته ی FEM می تواند منجر به کاهش تخمین تقاضای لرزه ای، با توجه به مدل پایه ی ثابت، تا 50٪ از نظر حداکثر نسبت رانش بین طبقات و تا 20٪ بر حسب حداکثر برش پایه شود. مدل سازی ساده شده ی اثرات SSI با استفاده از مدل تیر بر روی بستر غیرخطی وینکلر (BNWF) ، می تواند بر ارزیابی تقاضای لرزه ای تنها در مورد ساختمان های 8 طبقه بنا شده بر روی خاک های بسیار نرم، تأثیر بگذارد، چراکه پاسخ جنبشی بر پاسخ لغزشی فونداسیون اثر می گذارد. به هر حال، کاهش با توجه به مدل پایه ی ثابت (تا 20٪ برحسب حداکثر برش پایه و حداکثر نسبت رانش بین طبقات) کمتر از کاهش پیش بینی شده بوسیله ی مدل کامل FEM است. تفاوت بین دو رویکرد مدل سازی به ویژگی های مختلف میرایی کلی مربوط می شود، همانطور که در شکل 4 نشان داده شده است، که در آن شتاب یک نقطه در بالای سازه و طیف فوریه متناظر آن را برای داده ثبتی خاص ترسیم کرده ایم. مدل BNWF، به دلیل عدم وجود کوپلینگ بین حالت های عمودی و جانبی پاسخ فونداسیون و به دلیل عدم توجه به متغیر فرکانس امپدانس های فونداسیون، به ظاهر اتلاف انرژی ناشی از SSI را کم برآورد می کند.

Abstract

The paper investigates the influence of Soil-Structure-Interaction (SSI) effects on the seismic performances of 2D reinforced concrete (RC) moment resisting frames (MRFs), which were investigated by means of non-linear dynamic analyses. The goal was pursued by means of a parametric study in which (1) the soil properties, (2) the modelling technique of the SSI effects, (3) the seismic design level of the structures were varied. The soil classes suggested by Eurocode 8 were taken as reference to define the mechanical properties of soil. As concerns the SSI modelling, both a sub-structures approach and a direct approach were considered. Finally, structures of 4 and 8 floors designed for vertical loads only or according to the Italian regulations for constructions (NTC-08) were considered. RC-MRFs founded on soft soils were considered, because SSI effects on the seismic response are expected higher. The study shows that SSI affects the seismic demand in terms of maximum base shear and maximum inter-story drift ratio with different significance depending on the modelling approach.

1- Introduction

In this paper, the results of a parametric study performed with the aim to investigate the effects of the Soil-Structure Interaction (SSI) on the seismic performances of reinforced concrete (RC) moment resisting frames (MRFs) are shown. Nonlinear dynamic analyses were performed varying (i) the soil properties, (ii) the modelling technique of SSI effects, (iii) the seismic design level of the structures. As concerns the soil, the different classes suggested by Eurocode 8 [1] were referenced, while as concerns the modelling technique of SSI effects, both a “direct” approach and a “sub-structures” were considered. Finally, structures of 4 and 8 floors designed for vertical loads only or according to the current Italian regulations for constructions [2] were considered. Before showing the results of the analyses, the reference structures are introduced, as well as the selected records and the mechanical properties of the soil deposits assumed for the numerical analyses. Moreover, some explanations about the numerical models implemented in OpenSees are provided.

5- Conclusions

In this study, SSI effects on the seismic demand of reinforced concrete moment resisting frames were investigated by means of a parametric study in which: (i) the soil properties, (ii) the modelling technique of SSI effects and (iii) the seismic design level of the structures were varied. In particular, nonlinear dynamic analyses were performed.
The study shows that, based on the modelling approach adopted, SSI can affect more or less the estimation of the seismic demand with respect to a fixed-base model. The adoption of a refined complete FEM model can lead to reductions in the estimation of the seismic demand, with respect to a fixed-base model, up to 50% in terms of maximum inter-story drift ratio and up to 20% in terms maximum base shear. A simplified modelling of SSI effects by means of a Beam on Nonlinear Winkler Foundation (BNWF) model can affect the evaluation of the seismic demand only in case of 8 floors buildings founded on very soft soils, whereas rocking response tends to prevail over sliding response of the foundation. Anyway, the reductions with respect to a fixed-base model (up to 20% in terms of both maximum base shear and maximum inter-story drift ratio) are lower than those predicted by a complete FEM model. The difference between the two modelling approaches is related to the different characterization of the overall damping, as shown in Fig.4, in which the acceleration of a point on the top of the structure, and the corresponding Fourier spectrum, is plotted for a specific record. The BNWF model, because of the lack of coupling between vertical and lateral modes of foundation response and because of its incapability to take into account the frequency variability of foundation impedances, seems to under-estimate the energy dissipation due to SSI.

چکیده

مقاومت برشی سطوح مشترک بتن – بتن تحت تاثیر نیرو های برشی یا نیرو های نرمال عمود نسبت به سطح، یا ترکیبی از این دو با استفاده از نظریه اصطکاک برشی مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است که این نظریه در دهه 60 برای اتصالات ساختار های پیش ساخت توسعه یافته است. نظریه اصطکاک برشی با در نظر داشتن شکست برشی به صورت لغزش خالص توسعه یافته است و در ترکیب با ترک های تنشی نبوده است و این روش در بیشتر قوانین طراحی در سراسر جهان مورد استفاده قرار میگیرد. با وجود این که بهبود های مختلفی در نظریه اصلی در 50 سال اخیر ایجاد شده است، مطالعه های محدودی به بررسی و رفع مشکلات رفتار سطوح تحت تاثیر ترکیب تکانه های برشی و خمشی پرداخته اند، که در این شریط یک لغزش برشی ممکن است در راستای یک ترک تنشی ایجاد شود و یک منطقه فشردگی ایجاد کند. این شرایط یکی از مشکلات مرتبط برای طراحی ساختار های بتنری تقویت شده پیش ساخت یا بتن های قالب گیری شده در محل، میباشد.

این مقاله یک کار آزمایشی را ارائه میدهد که به بررسی رفتار سطوح مشترک بتن به بتن تحت تاثیر ترکیبی از تکانه های برشی و خمشی پرداخته است. تاثیر سطح مشترک بر روی رفتار کلی و مقاومت های برشی و خمشی نمونه های تیر در این مطالعه بررسی شده است و کاربرد آن در طراحی ها نیز در نظر گرفته شده است.

نتایج نشان میدهد که ظرفیت انتقال بار بر روی این سطوح کاهش پیدا میکند که این موضوع به دلیل تکانه خمشی در قسمت دهانه ترک میباشد، اما هیچ تاثیری بر روی مقاومت برشی و خمشی در نمونه های تیر وجود ندارد. اما، انعطاف پذیری خمشی مورد دوم نسبتا به دلیل لغزش برشی کاهش یافته است که بعد از شکل گفتن لولا های پلاستیکی رخ میدهد و سقوط منطقه های فشرده شده ایجاد میشود. نمیتوان صحت عبارات طراحی را برای پیش بینی بیشترین مقاومت اصطکاک ارزیابی کرد. اما، کاربرد عمومی این عبارات در این شرایط هنوز باید بررسی شود، زیرا این عبارات نمیتوانند کاهش مقاومت که بعد از تورق لایه های تقویت طولی رخ میدهد را پیش بینی کنند.

6- جمع بندی
یک کار آزمایشی در این مطالعه انجام شده است تا رفتار سطح مشترک بتن – بتن تحت ترکیب برش و تکانه خمشی بررسی شود و کاربرد روش های طراحی بر اساس نظریه اصطکاک برشی نیز ارزیابی شود. تاثیر سطح مشترک در مقاومت برشی، مقاومت خمشی و انعطاف تیر ها نیز تحلیل شده است.
نتایج نشان میدهد که نه مقاومت برشی و نه مقاومت خمشی نمونه ها تحت تاثیر حضور سطح مشترک قالب ها میباشد. اما، مقاومت تنش کاهش یافته بین دو بتن با قالب ریزی در زمان های مختلف که میتوان زیر مقاومت ضعیف ترین بتن باشد، موجب میشود که ترک های پیش از موعد در راستای سطح مشترک در قسمت تنش ایجاد شود. این پدیده بیشتر در منطقه های خمیدگی ایجاد میشود که ترک های تنشی نخست در راستای سطح مشترک ایجاد میشود نه روی قسمت پشتیبانی.
تغییرات در الگو های ترک معمولی بر روی شبکه تیر ها از حالت قطری به حالت افقی، اشاره به ظرفیت کاهش یافته سطح مشترک برای انتقال بار های برشی به سمت پشتیبانی ، نسبت به نمونه های مرجع دارد. این پدیده بر روی مقاومت برشی تاثیر ندارد اما یکی از عوامل تعیین کننده در رخداد لغزش برشی بعد از تشکیل لولای پلاستیک بر روی پشتیبانی های پیوسته میباشد. غرض ترک ها در قسمت سطح مشترک افزایش پیدا میکند که این موضوع موجب میشود که مکانیزم های تخریب ایجاد شود و دیگر انتقال بار به خوبی ایجاد نشود ( ارتباط توده ای و عمل میل پرچ) ، که منجر به ایجاد لغزش برشی در فلانج در اثر تنش و در قسمت شبکه و در نتیجه توسعه ترک تنشی در قسمت فلانج های فشرده میشود. رفتار های خمش سراسری در نمونه مشابه با مدل های مرجع میباشد ، اما انعطاف آن کمتر میباشد.

Abstract

The shear strength of concrete-to-concrete interfaces subjected to either shear or normal forces perpendicular to the interface, or to a combination of both, has been predicted using the “shear-friction theory” developed in the 60’s for connections for the precast construction. The “shear-friction theory” has been developed considering shear failure as pure slippage, and not in combination with a tension crack, and it has been adopted in most design codes worldwide. Although several improvements have been made to the original theory in the last 50 years, few have addressed the behaviour of interfaces subjected to a combination of shear and bending moment, where a shear slippage may occur along a tension crack and a compression zone. This is a relevant issue for the design of both cast-in-place and precast reinforced concrete structures.

This paper, presents an experimental work addressed to the study of the behaviour of concrete-to-concrete interfaces subjected to a combination of shear and bending moment. The influence of the interface on the global behaviour and shear and bending strengths of a beam specimen are addressed, as well as the application of the design expressions.

Results show that the load transfer capacity across the interface is reduced due to the bending moment crack opening, but it has no influence on the shear and the bending strengths of the beam specimen. However, the bending ductility of the latter is partially reduced due to a shear slippage occurred after the formation of a plastic hinge, and the collapse of the compression zone. It was not possible to evaluate the accuracy of the design expressions to predict the interface maximum friction strength. However, the general application of these expressions to this situation is doubtful, as they are incapable to predict the strength deterioration occurred after the yielding of the longitudinal reinforcement.

6- Conclusions

An experimental work was carried out in order to study the behaviour of concrete-to-concrete interfaces subjected to combination of shear and bending moment and to analyse the application of the design expressions based on the ‘‘shear-friction theory”. The effect of the interface in the shear strength, bending strength and ductility of a beam specimen was also analysed.

Results show that neither the shear strength nor the bending strength of the specimens got affected by the presence of a casting interface. However, the reduced tension strength between the two differently aged concretes, which could be below that of the weakest concrete, lead to a premature cracking along the interface, in the tension zone. This phenomenon was mainly observed in the hogging region where the tension crack occurred firstly along the interface rather than over the support.

The variation of the typical cracking pattern on the web, from diagonal to vertical, pointed to a reduced capacity of the interface to transfer shear loads towards the support, in relation to the reference specimen. This phenomenon did not affect the shear resistance but it was a determining factor in the shear slippage occurred after the formation of a plastic hinge over the continuous support. The crack width increase at the interface led to a deterioration of the mechanisms responsible for the load transfer (aggregate interlock and dowel action), conducting to a shear slippage along the flange in tension and the web, and to the development of a tension crack in the compressed flange. The global bending behaviour of the specimen was similar to the reference model, however with reduced ductility.

کدهای طراحی لرزه ای اکثراً ادعا می کنند که نیازمندیهایشان منجر به سطح عملکرد (PL) ایمنی جانی (LS) برای ساختمان ها می گردد. این در حالیست که بسیاری از ساختمان ها که براساس کدهای فعلی طراحی شده اند، عملکرد غیر قابل قبولی نشان داده و حتی در برخی اززلزله های اخیر، به ویژه رویدادهای نزدیک منبع ویران شده اند. براین اساس، به نظر می رسد برای ایجاد اطمینان کافی در جامعه مهندسی، مقررات آئین نامه و کدهای لرزه ای به ارتقاء بیشتری نیاز دارند. هدف از اجرای این مطالعه پی بردن به نحوه اثربخشی کدهای IBC 2009 و ACI 318-2014 در تامین LS PL در ساختمان های منظم چند طبقه بتن آرمه با سیستم باربری جانبی و قاب خمشی خاص می باشد. برای این منظور، مجموعه ای از ساختمان های چند طبقه تا 16 طبقه درزلزله خیزترین ناحیه تهران انتخاب و براساس کدها طراحی شدند. سپس، از مجموعه ای از شتاب نگارهای سه مولفه ای نزدیک منبع استفاده و مطابق کد مقیاس بندی شدند، و برای کلیه ساختمان ها یک سری تحلیل های تاریخچه زمانی غیر خطی انجام شد. جابجایی و شتاب بام، و نیروهای برشی پایه محاسبه و همچنین برای ارزیابی عملکرد لرزه ای، روند شکل گیری لولاهای (مفصل) پلاستیکی و توزیع آنها در سازه ها مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. نتایج بدست آمده نشان می دهد که برای برخی از زلزله ها، عملکرد ساختمان ها از حد LS PL فراتر رفت، و حتی در برخی موارد، به سطح فروریزش و ویرانی می رسند.

1- مقدمه

اکثر کدهای طراحی لرزه ای فعلی برای سیستم های ساختمانی به صورت صریح یا ضمنی ادعا می کنند که طراحی سازه های ساختمان ها براساس نیازمندیهایشان منجر به ایمنی جانی (LS) به عنوان حداقل سطح عملکردشان (PL) می گردد. این در حالیست که برخی از ساختمان ها که براساس مقررات کدهای فعلی طراحی و براساس استانداردهای بالا تحت نظارت خوب ساخته شده اند، PLs غیر قابل قبولی نشان داده، و حتی در برخی از زلزله های اخیر ویران شده اند. همچنین، در بسیاری از موارد، میزان آسیب و خرابی در ساختمان های در معرض زلزله به حدی بالا است که تخریب و بازسازی ساختمان حتمی می شود. براین اساس، به نظر می رسد برای ایجاد اطمینان کافی در جامعه مهندسی، مقررات کد هنوز نیاز به ارتقاء دارند.

4- نتایج

نتایج بدست آمده نشان می دهد که برای برخی از زلزله های استفاده شده، عملکرد ساختمانها فراتر از سطح عملکرد مورد انتظار است (تجاوز)، و حتی در برخی از موارد، ساختمان ها به سطح فروریزش و ویرانی می رسند. علت این تجاوز، عمدتاً ناشی از اثر شدت بالای تحریک های عمودی زمین می باشد. به علاوه، توزیع لولاهای پلاستیکی در سازه های ساختمان ها یکنواخت نیست، و آنها بسته به ارتفاع و ویژگیهای زلزله ورودی، معمولاً در برخی سطوح خاص از ساختمان ها، متمرکز می شوند. براین اساس می توان ادعا نمود که مقررات کد به ویژه با توجه به لحاظ شدن اثر تکان عمودی زیاد زمین زلزله های نزدیک منبع، نیاز به ارتقاء دارند، تا بدین طریق بتوانند به طراحی ساختمانهایی منجر گردند که به سطح عملکرد ایمنی جانبی مطمئنی می رسند.

Abstract

Seismic design codes mostly claim that their requirements lead to Life Safety (LS) Performance Level (PL) for buildings. This is while many buildings, designed based on the current codes have shown unacceptable performance, and even have collapsed in some recent earthquakes, particularly near-source events. On this basis, it seems that the code provisions still need further improvement to create sufficient confidence in the engineering community. This study has been conducted to find out how IBC 2009 And ACI 318-2014 codes are effective in providing the LS PL in reinforced concrete multi-story regular buildings with special moment frame lateral load bearing system. For this purpose, a set of multi-story buildings up to 16 stories were considered in the highest seismic hazard zone of Tehran, and were designed based on the codes. Then, a set of near-source three-component accelerograms were employed and scaled according to the code, and a series of nonlinear time history analyses were conducted for all buildings. Roof displacement and acceleration, and base shear forces were calculated, and also the formation trend of plastic hinges and their distribution in the structures were investigated for evaluating the seismic performances. Results show that for some earthquakes the buildings performance exceed LS PL, and even in some cases they reach collapse level.

1- Introduction

Most of the current seismic design codes for building systems claim, either explicitly or implicitly, that design of buildings’ structures based on their requirements leads to Life Safety (LS) as their minimum Performance Level (PL). This is while some buildings, designed based on the current codes’ provisions, and constructed based on high standards, under good supervision, have shown unacceptable PLs, even collapse in some recent earthquakes, particularly near-source events. Also in many cases the extent of damage in the earthquake stricken buildings has been so high, that the demolishing and reconstruction of the building have become inevitable. On this basis, it seems that the code provisions still need improvement to create sufficient confidence in the engineering community.

4- Conclusions

Results show that for some of the employed earthquakes the buildings’ performance exceeds the expected performance level, and even in some cases the buildings reach collapse level. This exceedance can be mainly due to the effect of the high intensity of vertical ground excitations. Furthermore, the distribution of plastic hinges in the buildings’ structures is not uniform, and they usually concentrate in some specific levels of the buildings, depending on their height and the input earthquake characteristics. On this basis, it can be claimed that the code provisions still need improvement, particularly with regard to the inclusion of the effect of extensive vertical ground motion of nearsource earthquakes, to lead to design of buildings which confidently achieve the live safety performance level.

چکیده

برای بررسی رفتار مکانیکی لوله های فولادی (پروفیل) مربعی با استحکام بالا و پرشده با بتون بسیار مقاوم (HCFHST) تحت بار خمشی خالص، شش نمونه با نسبت های فولاد متفاوت مورد تست قرار گرفتند. مدل-های المان-محدود غیرخطی متناظر جهت تحلیل خواص مکانیکی ایجاد شدند. منحنی های بار-جابجایی که از تحلیل های عددی بدست آمده بودند با نتایج تجربی مطابقت دارند. علاوه بر این، تاثیرات مواد مختلف در این مقاله مورد تحلیل قرار می گیرند. رابطه گشتاور-انحنا (خمیدگی) می تواند در سه مرحله تقسیم بندی شود: مرحله الاستیک، مرحله تسلیم (yield)، و مرحله سخت شدگی. و ظرفیت باربری نهایی با نسبت فولاد، مقاومت تسلیم فولاد و مقاومت فشاری بتون افزایش یافت (یعنی رابطه مستقیم دارد). بعلاوه، ظرفیت باربری نهایی این آزمایش و مدل تحلیلی المان-محدود (FEA) با الزامات و مقتضیات کدهای ذیل مقایسه می شود: AISCLRFD (1999), AIJ (1997), EC4 (1994) و GB50936-2014 (2014). نتایج مدل FEA و این آزمون با نتایج محاسبه شده EC4 (1994) بیشترین مطابقت را داشتند. و نتایج حاصل از این مقاله بیشترین مطابقت را با کد EC4 (1994) دارد. 

1- پیشگفتار

در مقایسه با سازه بتنی مسلح متداول، لوله فولادی (پروفیل) مربعی شکل (CFST) دارای ظرفیت باربری (bearing capacity)، شکل پذیری (ductility) و ظرفیت مقاومت در برابر آتش بالاتری می باشد. علاوه براین، این نوع سازه  اقتصادی تر می باشد و می تواند بصورت ساده تری ساخته شود. بدلیل داشتن این خواص، بصورت گسترده در مهندسی عملی همچون ساختمان های بلند مرتبه و پل هایی با دهانه بزرگ مورد استفاده قرار گرفته  است. ساختمان های پیشرفته نیاز به ارتفاع ساخت و ساز بالاتر و طول دهانه بیشتر دارند. از اینرو، طراحی سازه سنگین تر خواهد بود. لوله های فولادی (پروفیل) مربعی با استحکام بالا و پرشده با بتون بسیار مقاوم (HCFHST)، که هم مزیت بتون با استحکام بالا و هم مزیت لوله فولادی (پروفیل) مربعی با استحکام بالا را دارد می تواند ظرفیت باربری نهایی را افزایش داده و وزن سازه را کاهش دهد. 

6- نتایج

بر اساس تحلیل و بحث صورت گرفته روی این آزمون و نتایج FEA، نتایج ذیل را می توان استنتاج کرد: 

(1) نمونه HCFHST تحت بار خمشی خالص شکل پذیری بالایی داشت. منحنی خیز رفتاری سینوس شکل داشت، و بدلیل کمانش موضعی سطح بالایی پروفیل در وسط دهانه دچار شکست شد.

(2) رابطه گشتاور-انحنا نمونه HCFHST تحت بار خمشی خالص می تواند بر اساس رفتار مکانیکی اجزاء به چهار مرحله مجزا شود: مرحله الاستیک، مرحله تسلیم، مرحله سختی.

(3) قبل از ترک برداشتن بتون، اساساً بتون مرکزی گشتاور خمشی را تحمل می کند. بعد از آن سهم پروفیل بیشتر می شود، و بعد از آن فولاد کششی تسلیم می شود، اساساً پروفیل در برابر گشتاور خمشی مقاومت می کند.

(4) ظرفیت باربری نهایی HCFHST تحت گشتاور خمشی خالص بصورت چشمگیر با نسبت فولاد و مقاومت تسلیم فولاد افزایش می یابد. این افزایش که بدلیل مقاومت فشاری بتون مرکزی می باشد بسیار کمتر از دو متغیر طراحی دیگر می باشد.

Abstract

To study the mechanical behavior of high-strength concrete filled high-strength square steel tube (HCFHST) under pure bending load, six specimens with different steel ratio were tested. The corresponding nonlinear finite-element models were established to analyze the mechanical properties. The load-displacement curves obtained from the numerical analyses are consistent with the experimental results. In addition, the influences of different materials are analyzed in this paper. The moment-curvature relationship can be divided into three stages: elastic stage, yield stage and hardening stage. And the ultimate bearing capacity increased with the steel ratio, steel yield strength and concrete compressive strength. Moreover, the ultimate bearing capacity of the experiment and finite-element analysis (FEA) model is compared with the requirements of codes: AISC-LRFD (1999), AIJ (1997), EC4 (1994) and GB50936-2014 (2014). The test and FEA result were the most compatible to the calculated result of EC4 (1994). And find the results in this paper is the most compatible to the code EC4 (1994).

1- Introduction

Compared with traditional reinforced concrete structure, concrete filled steel tube (CFST) has a higher bearing capacity, ductility and fire resistant capacity. Besides, it’s also an economic structure type and can be constructed easily. Because of these characteristics, it has been widely used in practical engineering such as high-rise buildings and longspan bridges. The modern building has a higher demand for the construction height and span length. Therefore, the structure design becomes more ponderous. High-strength concrete filled high-strength square steel tube (HCFHST), which takes the advantage of both highstrength concrete and high-strength square steel tube can raise the ultimate bearing capacity and decrease the weight of the structure.

6- Conclusions

Based on the analysis and discussion on the test and FEA results, the following conclusions can be drawn:

(1) The HCFHST specimen under pure bending load has a high ductility. The deflection curve performs close to sinusoid shape, and it fails because of the local bulking of the top surface of the steel tube at mid-span.

(2) The moment-curvature relationship of the HCFHST specimen under pure bending load can be separated into four stages according to the mechanical behavior of the components: elastic stage, yield stage and hardening stage.

(3) Before concrete crack, core concrete mainly resists the bending moment. After that the proportion of steel tube increases, and after tensile steel yields, steel tube mainly resists the bending moment.

(4) The ultimate bearing capacity of the HCFHST under pure bending moment significant increases with steel ratio and steel yield strength. The increase due to the core concrete compressive strength is much less than the other two design variables.
